Intended Use: for the qualitative detection of infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV Ag) in Avian feces or inner wall of Bursa of Fabrices secretions.

Principle: lateral flow immunochromatographic assay.

Specimen: feces or inner wall of Bursa of Fabrices secretions

TEST PROCEDURE

• Allow all materials, including specimen and test device, recover to 15-25 before running the assay.
  
• Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally. Please use it within 1 hour.
  
• Insert the swab into the sample tube containing the buffer, rotate the swab vigorously and repeatedly on the wall of the test tube at least 10 times, and mix the solution so that the specimen is dissolved in the solution as much as possible.
  Squeeze the swab on the wall of the test tube above the liquid level so that the liquid is squeezed out as much as possible and discard the swab.
  
• Let stand for 30-60 seconds after mixing, waiting for precipitation.
  
• Absorb the prepared clarified sample supernatant with a matching dropper, and add 3 drops (about 90μl) vertically and slowly into the sample well.
  
• The result should be interpreted after 5-10 minutes, and the result is invalid after 15 minutes.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

• Positive (+): The presence of both "C" line and zone "T" line, no matter T line is clear or vague.
  
  
• Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line.
  
  
• Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
